The first awareness-raising campaign of the National Centre was the information campaign of 1998 entitled “Occorre essere tanto grandi da prendere sul serio le cose dei piccoli”. The brochure of the campaign contained information on the opportunities offered by Law No. 285/1997 and launched a challenging but confidence-inspiring message to the institutions and the world of adults with a view to supporting children’s policies.
Information is one of the original functions of the National Centre as through information equal opportunity conditions are created, as well as the dissemination of knowledge on the conditions of the children in our country. In recent years, this effort also directly addressed children: indeed, the Centre started to produce also Easy-to-Read materials for children of different age groups.
