Raising awareness among the public, and especially among families with teenage children, on the issue of cyberbullying, offering parents specific tools to deal with critical situations in which their children are victims of the phenomenon of cyberbullying: this is the objective of the Stop Cyberbullying institutional communication campaign, implemented by the Department for Family Policies of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers in collaboration with Istituto degli Innocenti.
The campaign - presented as a national preview on 5 February at the MiCo conference centre in Milan, during the Italian edition of Safer Internet Day - included the creation of a 30-second institutional video-spot (broadcast on RAI public service channels from 7 February) and a toolkit for parents, an interactive booklet aimed at helping fathers and mothers to support and guide their children in case they are victims of cyberbullying. Both the video and the toolkit are available online on the website of the Department for Family Policies, at the following link
