The Department for family policies of the Prime Minister’s Office, exercising functions of national guidance and coordination concerning policies for childhood and adolescence, also performs the typical functions of the National centre of documentation and analysis for childhood and adolescence (Law Decree 12 July 2018, no. 86, amended by Law 9 August 2018, no. 97).
The typical functions of the Centre are the promotion, disclosure and communication of the policies in favour of childhood and adolescence.
Namely (under article 3, paragraph 2, letters a), b), c), d), g) of Presidential Decree 14 May 2007, no. 103), such functions concern the activities of documentation, analysis, research and monitoring, information and promotion, as well as a bibliographical collection of studies and publications on the juvenile world.
