As part of its analysis function, the National Centre also carries out research and surveys aiming at further understanding both the living conditions of children, through the collection of data and information, and the evolution of some significant phenomena.
The research activity concerns, in particular, aspects of the lives of children on which information is lacking. . Over the years, various social research strategies have been used by collecting relevant examples of survey activities of a census and sample nature and often using focus group techniques and interviews with special witnesses.
