Bibliographic review on childhood and adolescence 4/08 - Family associations

Family associations are set up around a specific need of families, they are promoted by families and implement an intervention that is not only aimed at the family but involves it directly and makes it the protagonist of the action. This specific form of association action is reading theme in this issue of Rassegna bibliografica, edited by Elisabetta Carrà Mittini, Researcher in Sociology of Cultural Processes at the Family Studies and Research University Centre of the Catholic University of Milan.

The five documentaries presented in the filmographic journey curated by Fabrizio Colamartino bear witness to the fact that this kind of film is not only a means of reproducing reality, but also a device that contributes to stimulating reflection on the part of all the figures involved (director, protagonists and spectator) and to producing a change in society.
