Bibliographic review on childhood and adolescence 3/12 - New reflections on fostering

Seven years later, Ivana Comelli, PhD in Social and Developmental Psychology at the Catholic University of Milan, and Raffaella Iafrate, Associate Professor of Social Psychology at the Catholic University of Milan, propose a new reflection on family fostering in the light of the socio-cultural transformations that have affected our country and the legislative changes that have affected the sphere of welfare.

The filmography review, curated by Fabrizio Colamartino, retraces the representations of foster care, highlighting how, in the face of a decidedly reduced corpus of films compared to those that depict adoption (much more widespread and popular), this is more consistent with the intrinsic characteristics of foster care itself, based on a less fictional representation, more accurate and grounded in the reality of the condition of minors who experience this measure.
