Some of the topics addressed in the third issue of 2010 are a survey on adoptive families, the indicators of child well-being and the National Plan for Children and Adolescents.

The first analysis article, by Maria Teresa Tagliaventi, examines the issues of parents and children in the adoption process; the second one, by Asher Ben-Arieh, describes the evolution, the present situation and the future prospects of indicators of child well-being; the last analysis article, by Gualtiero Harrison, is titled Antropologia e diritti umani dei minori di età (Anthropology and human rights of minors).

The journal also focuses on the European Network of Ombudspeople for Children (interview with Patricia Lewsley by Roberta Ruggiero), on the National Plan for Children and Adolescents, on the communities of practice and on international policies on child labour. 

The third issue of Cittadini in crescita, illustrated by the American cartoonistWilliam (Bill) Watterson, ends with the legislative overview written by Tessa Onida.
