Superheroes. Let's Protect Children Together is the title of the photographic exhibition organised by the Operations Centre for Cyber Security of the Lombardy Postal Police. The exhibition will be inaugurated on 9 February at the Istituto degli Innocenti in Florence, thanks to the collaboration with the Operations Centre for Cyber Security of Tuscany and the support of Banco BPM and others partners.

The exhibition highlights the work carried out by the Italian State Police, through officers of the Postal Police, in combating child pornography, abuse, and the online grooming of minors. The project was created to raise awareness among younger generations, families, and the wider educational community about the importance of preventing online violence and abuse.

On the occasion of the inauguration, a Protocol of Understanding will be signed between the State Police and the Istituto degli Innocenti to implement joint actions to protect young people under the age of 18. Five in-depth meetings (9–13 February) are also scheduled, addressing topics such as the use of social networks, digital addiction, and peer gender-based violence. The exhibition, with free admission, will be open to visitors until 13 February.

Additional materials and news can be found on this website under “Child pornography” and “Sexual abuse of children and adolescents”, accessible from the “Topics” navigation menu.
