Conferences with institutional representatives and experts, as well as cultural, recreational and sports events open to families and all citizens. Once again this year, the Family Festival, which opened in Trento on 28 November, offers a rich programme of study days and other initiatives that will continue at various venues in the provincial capital until 3 December.

The theme of the event - promoted by the Department for Family Policies of the Autonomous Province of Trento, coordinated by the Provincial Agency for Social Cohesion and now in its eleventh edition - is Social Cohesion, Regional Welfare and Quality of Life. The centrality of family welfare policies in promoting competitiveness, attractiveness and local development.

"The Festival – reads the presentation - intends to promote the scientific debate with the main institutions and organisations that have developed knowledge and skills on the connections between social cohesion policies and family policy".
