The supplement to issue 4/2020 of Rassegna bibliografica consists of a reading path, entitled Health and well-being of children in the first 1000 days of life by Monica Mancini - Researcher, Istituto degli Innocenti -, in which an attempt is made to define, in broad terms, some elements of the research paths in various scientific disciplines that have made a significant contribution to the definition of the theory of the "first 1000 days", which began to spread at the beginning of the new millennium and took on a definite form based on the results of studies and scientific discoveries which, from the middle of the last century, confirmed that the development of the human person, from the beginning of his or her existence, is the result of the interaction between individual biological characteristics and the environment in which he or she is born, grows and lives.
This is followed by a filmographic path on the same theme by Annamaria Poli - Researcher and Lecturer in Cinema and Visual Arts at the "Riccardo Massa" Department of Human Sciences for Education of the University of Milan-Bicocca. The films selected for this path are films by directors who have told stories about very young children and have highlighted their interactions with the world, their well-being, their personalities and, as far as possible, lent them a voice and a way of being heard.
