Planning, designing and managing for quality in the integrated system
The Handbook of childcare services, promoted by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers - Department for Family Policies and carried out with the collaboration of Istituto degli Innocenti of Florence, continues to represent - now in its fifth edition - is a valid and updated tool for those who work in the complex and articulated world of educational services dedicated to children from 0 to 6 years.
The structure of the Handbook is articulated along a series of areas that guide the reader through the different topics of interest:

- Planning: structures, organisation and the educational project
- Managing: roles and functions of the public and private sectors
- Quality: rules, control and supervision
- Integrated system: coordination, financing and access
- Perspective 0-6: ideas for the future
The navigable format, which makes it a flexible tool that can be adapted to the specific needs of its users, the ease of consultation, the possibility of using it to calibrate the design task in the specific contexts in which it operates.
More than 200 cards and hypertex allow direct access to databases containing updated data relating to supply and demand of 0-6 services in regional, local or municipal territorial contexts, as well as the norms of reference and rules currently in force in the regional contexts.
