Issue 4/2001 of the Bibliographical Review opens with a special section on children victims of armed conflicts, a topic that is unfortunately becoming increasingly topical.

This section on the subject, which brings together the most recent essays at national and international level, is a small contribution to knowledge, aimed at reminding us that there are many direct and indirect consequences of war on children's lives.
