Rassegna bibliografica 2/2009 has as its main theme the figure of the juvenile judge on which Luigi Fadiga, Professor of Juvenile Law at the LUMSA University of Rome, former president of the Juvenile Court of Rome, focuses the reading path by retracing the historical stages of its progressive definition in Italy.

Fabrizio Colamartino's filmography also focuses on juvenile justice. By their very nature, justice and, even more so, juvenile imprisonment often remain outside the scope of cinema, apart from a few films denouncing the inhuman living conditions of young prisoners. But cinema - and even more so theatre - can be transformed into opportunities for true freedom and emancipation for young inmates, as witnessed by the many realities that operate in juvenile prisons.
