The juvenile judge: thematic path

Copertina del supplemento alla Rassegna bibliografica n. 2/2009

The thematic path, extracted from the Rassegna bibliografica 2/2009, edited by Luigi Fadiga, Professor of Juvenile Law at the LUMSA University of Rome, former president of the Juvenile Court of Rome, focuses on the figure of the juvenile judge, tracing its historical stages and progressive definition in Italy. The course dwells on the specialisation foreseen since 1908 for this body and, in later stages, for all actors of the juvenile criminal process, including lawyers, service operators and judicial police, in a perspective that goes beyond the traditional partition between criminal and civil competences.
