Bibliographic review on childhood and adolescence 1/11 - Play, sport, education

The bibliographic review of the first issue of Rassegna bibliografica of 2011 focuses on play and sport in the education context of children and adolescents. The article was written by Alessandro Bortolotti, researcher in Didactics and Special Pedagogy at the University of Bologna, and by Roberto Farnè, Director of the Department of Education Sciences of the University of Bologna and Professor of Pedagogy of Play and Sport.

The volume is completed by the filmography review by Fabrizio Colamartino and Marco Dalla Gassa, which analyses the role of children and adolescents in the films dealing with sports. The authors focus in particular on the representations which, leaving in the background the social implications that often characterize sports films, successfully convey – through an original use of cinematographic language – the strongest feelings and the most intimate emotions of children and adolescents who decide to practice sports.
