On 14 June, Rome (Centro Congressi Auditorium della Tecnica, viale Umberto Tupini 65) will host the event Nurseries and Early Childhood Education Services in Italy: the picture of supply and the effect of the pandemic, organised by the Department for Family Policies as part of the rich programme of ForumPA 2022, a national event dedicated to the theme of modernisation of the Public Administration, which returns this year.

The event- moderated by Alfredo Ferrante, head of the Department - will give an overview of the results achieved as part of the cooperation agreement signed between the Department for Family Policies, ISTAT and Ca' Foscari University of Venice to produce, circulate and analyse statistical data on early childhood education services.

The first presentation by Roberta Crialesi, research manager at Istat, will offer an integrated interpretation of data to provide an analytical cognitive framework on the subject of early childhood services and, more generally, on the integrated education and training system from birth to six years of age. This will be followed by the contribution of Stefano Campostrini, lecturer at the Ca' Foscari University of Venice, who will present the main outcomes of the supplementary survey on childhood education services carried out during the 2020/2021 educational year, providing a concise picture of the effects of the pandemic on the supply system of nurseries and spring sections.

The event will be held from 3.30p.m. to 4.30p.m. It will also be possible to follow it online, by subscribing to the link indicated on the dedicated page of the ForumPA 2022website.
