The 2022 and 2023 Reports to Parliament on the coordination activity referred to in Article 17, paragraph 1, of Law no. 69 of 3 August 1998 - Provisions against the exploitation of prostitution, pornography, and sexual tourism to the detriment of minors, as new forms of slavery - are now available online on the website of the Department for Family Policies of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.

The two documents, prepared by the Department for Family Policies in collaboration with the Istituto degli Innocenti of Florence, describe the activities carried out by the Italian Government, other national institutions, and the Third Sector to combat and prevent the sexual exploitation and abuse of minors, bringing to Parliament’s attention the elements deemed useful for the future definition and planning of national strategies and policies aimed at implementing actions to protect those under 18 from sexual crimes.

The two Reports can be found in the dedicated news.

Additional materials and news can be found on this website under Sexual exploitation and Sexual abuse of children and adolescents, accessible from the “Topics” navigation menu.
