The Fifth and Sixth Reports on the state of implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child summarise the policies and programmes in favour of children and adolescents implemented by the Italian Government in the period 2008-2016 and present a picture of the interventions aimed at promoting the condition of children in our country.
The National Centre (Centro nazionale di documentazione e analisi per l'infanzia e l'adolescenza) contributed to the writing of the report with research on the condition of children and adolescents in Italy that was carried out for the preparation of the Periodic Report to Parliament. The document also includes the results of the activities of comparison and in-depth thematic analysis carried out by the working groups of the National Observatory on Children and Adolescents on the occasion of the drafting of the Fourth National Action Plan for Children and Adolescents.
